1. Please address the following issues concerning the wet detention pond:
a. Please correct the inconsistencies between the invert and water level elevations
provided in the Supplement Form and the various plan and profile sheets.
The drainage area is given on the plans as 12 acres, but on the supplement form it is
stated to be 10.1 acres. Please correct this discrepancy.
c. Please specify sizes and spacing of plants on the vegetated shelf planting plan.
d. Please provide a complete depiction of all outlet devices on a single plan sheet.
A soils report documenting the level of the SHWT must be included. If the SHWT is
more than six inches below the top of the permanent pool, then a liner must be
constructed or compacted such that the infiltration rate is no more than 0.01 inch/hour.
f. A signed and notarized Operation and Maintenance Agreement must be provided
Please provide a Level Spreader Supplement form with the Required Items Checklist and all
required items for the level spreader and vegetated filter strip. The vegetated filter strip must
be a minimum of 30 feet in width. The first 10 cfs of the 10-year storm flow must be directed to
the LS-VFS system and the remainder should be bypassed.
3. For the conceptual stormwater plan on the future phases of this site, please provide a
calculation of the anticipated water quality volume (for the one-inch storm) and an assurance
that the areas that have been reserved for BMPs will provide an adequate storage volume.
