Location: The project site is located at the NC DCR Permit Area near Beaufort Inlet, Carteret
County.
Proposed Project: The applicant is proposing to conduct privately funded underwater archaeological
investigations for "The El Salvador" 3 miles west of Beaufort Inlet and within the
Atlantic Ocean.
