DWQ Buffer Concurrence - WaterGarden.pdf; HPIM0345C.JPG; HPIM0346C.JPG; HPIM0346C.JPG Hey Amy, Per our voicemails, the property owners have drained the WaterGarden ponds at the site off of Glenwood Avenue (Hwy 70 West), just before Carmax in Raleigh. There is a newly established stream/pool now, and Eric issued a conditional buffer approval pending the buffer plantings. The landscapers finished up the plantings and seeding last Friday, per the conditional buffer approval letter. Attached is the Preliminary Wetlands exhibits and an exhibit from 2006 before the ponds were drained. Also, included is the original buffer concurrence letter from Eric Kulz, and some pictures of the drained ponds I took last Friday. I would like to see what times/dates are good for you to visit the site and get a final buffer approval. Let me know what is convenient and I can accommodate.
