The primary purpose of the meeting was to review the current status of the project and to review the Division of Water Quality's (DWQ) stormwater conditions of Certification No. 3386 dated August 9, 2002. Ron Jewett added that another reason for the meeting was to get Delta oriented to the project and with DWQ in order for the design to be completed as efficiently and expeditiously as possible Ken Moody gave an overview of the Certification conditions and the conflict with a DWQ letter dated June 14, 2001. Bob Zaraecki stated that the Certification dated August 9, 2002 supercedes DWQ letter dated June 14, 2001. Bob Zarzecki did indicate that he recalled working on the June 14, 2001 letter and the installation of a "bypass" system for the existing stormwater as the June 14 letter indicates. He indicated that based on the certification that all stormwater could discharge into the wetlands if downstream erosion of the wetlands is controlled. He also indicated that all runoff, including the service road, could be collected in the 72" system if it is treated and meets the BMP requirements, and that only the runoff from the new impervious must be treated and not the grassed safety areas. Bob Zarzecki also said that detention would not be required due to the minimal increased impervious surface. NC 04080 COOL .MM Delta Airport Consultants, Inc., P. 0. Box 80036, Raleigh, North Carolina 27623 (919) 840-7604 ,)k Bob Zarzecki indicated that certain conditions of the Certification may be incomplete and the discrepancy with the June 14, 2001 letter may require a new or updated certification or that it may only require an administrative revision. Bob Zarzecki said he would have to meet with John Dorney his supervisor and discuss the issue. He said he would have a response to the Airport Authority by the end of the week. Since Mike Fischer was going to be out of town, Ron Jewett asked that any correspondence by sent to him and that Mike Fischer be copied. E.
