Subject: Shurtape Technologies, Inc. — Stoney Point Tape Plant
Chemical Treatment Use
NPDES No. NCG500323
JAN 12 9
Alexander County cp
Shurtape Technologies, Inc. has submitted Suresperse 925L cooling water treatment
for review and approval. Data submitted to our office concerning dosage rate, degradation,
system volume, average daily discharge, toxicity of the active ingredient(s) and/or breakdown
products, and minimum stream flow have been reviewed and evaluated.
As the active ingredients of these products are not considered biocidal, approval from
this office is not required for their use. Following current permitting practices, the use of the
above mentioned boiler additives should be allowable at Shurtape Technologies, Inc. —
Stoney Point Tape Plant. If there are questions concerning this review please contact me at
(919) 733-2136.
