WATER ALITY SECTION'
This letter is addressing the deficiencies noted in the Laboratory, Effluent Sampling and
Drying Beds Sections of the report.
Laboratory: As noted in the report the TRC meter was not calibrated/verified during the
period January 6 through November 13, 2006. This was an oversight. On November 13,
2006 Water Tech Labs calibrated and verified meter. I will ensure TRC meter is
calibrated/verified yearly as required. Sorry for the oversight.
Effluent Sampling: As noted in the report the composite sampler was collecting 390 mis
once per hour. I was not aware that time -based composite samples are to be collected at
intervals of no greater than 20 minutes apart and the aliquots must be no less than 100
mis. I change composite sampler to every 20 minutes and the aliquot to 200 mis.
Drying Beds: As noted in the report the dewatered sludge is stock piled on -site. After the
inspection the stock piled sludge was covered with plastic to prevent any run off from it.
We are in the process of contracting to get the sludge hauled off. In the future no sludge
will be stockpiled on site.
