Goodrich NPDES Permits Group State of North Carolina Health and Natural Resources PO Box 11666 Raleigh, N.C. 27611 -7: RE: Petition in accordance with Chapter 150E of N.C. General Statues. NPDES No. NCO034967 Carolina Glove Company, Inc. Effluent limitations and monitoring requirements. Dear Mr. Goodrich, I have received your letter regarding the new NPDES permitting schedule for organizing permit issuance and reviewing river basins within the State. On the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements the BOD and Total Suspended Residue have been changed from biweekly (2/month) to weekly, we at Carolina Glove feel that over the past several years we have had adequate BOD and TSS removal, and oppose to weekly requirements. Having this done on a weekly basis will increase our lab fees by 100%.- Please review this once again at our request, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to call Brian Eades at ORC (704) 632-5280 or me at (704) 464-1132 ext. 162. Sincerely, Warner Bolick Plant Engineer Carolina Glove Company Inc. enclosured
