Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during the inspection. The report should be self-explanatory. No discharge was observed at the time of the inspection. This has been the case apparently in the past also. If the system does discharge, then analytical samples should be collected per permit requirements. The septic tank should be pumped every five years or as needed. You stated you intend to have this done soon. Please provide records to this office once this is accomplished. Also, please provide information on the type of chlorine tablets you are using. These should be approved for wastewater use. No water was visible in the chlorine contact chamber. The owner wasn't sure of the type of chlorine tablets he was using. He was advised to notify this office when he determined what type they were.
