Dear Mr. Bollinger:
Donald R. van der Vaart
Secretary
May 18, 2015
Subject: Compliance Evaluation Inspection
Bollinger Single Family Residence
COC # NCG550201
Alexander County
Enclosed is a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection report (CEI) for the inspection
conducted at the subject facility on May 12, 2015 by Mr. Barry Love, with this Office. Thank you for your
assistance and cooperation during the inspection.
The report should be self-explanatory. No discharge was observed at the time of the inspection.
This has been the case apparently in the past also. If the system does discharge, then analytical samples should
be collected per permit requirements. The septic tank should be pumped every five years or as needed. You
stated you intend to have this done soon. Please provide records to this office once this is accomplished. Also,
please provide information on the type of chlorine tablets you are using. These should be approved for
wastewater use.
If you have any questions, comments, or need assistance with understanding any aspect of your
permit or this report, please do not hesitate to contact me at (704)-663-1699.
Sincerely,
Barry Love, Environmental Specialist
