I have talked to Dawn to explain that we won’t have 401 applications for several months and we will have
spent too much for this to be an outstanding issue. She is going to make some calls and try to get it fixed.

See below from Katie Harville from HPO about the Fayetteville Road project (Faulhaber Farm). It seems like they won’t
engage with me further on an MOA until they have more info from the Corps as well as an actual permit application . Do
you know where they are in this process?

Hey Ellen,
2
ER 20-0096: We can't make a determination without the site plan and the Corp's permit area map. Any
architectural evaluation of the property will have to meet the ER Historic Structure Survey Report Standards. I
don't believe we requested an evaluation though, but some photos of the structures and a brief description of their
current state wouldn't go amiss.
If the intent is to demolish, I would advise that your client submits a clear statement of intent, the requested site
plans, and the Corps permit info (must be from the Corps).
Best,
Katie Harville

Ellen:
I reviewed the Johnston County project.
Given the age of the SL and the lack of boundaries, I believe that there needs to be a determination of eligibility report
as you would do for the intensive survey/evaluated properties for NCDOT. From what I can see, you will need good
comps. Especially, if eligible, a definite adverse effect.
Wake County may be Katie’s. I don’t remember it and can’t get to the database to check.

Katie and Renee:
Hello, I assume you both are working from home…I was going to request an appointment to discuss two ACC projects,
but I think we may have to handle these by phone or email now. If you do find yourselves in the office I am happy to
meet, at a safe distance of course.
ER 20‐0206 (SHPO letter attached for your reference). 55‐lot Residential Subdivision, Four Oaks, Johnston County. We
scoped the job as a boundary delineation for the Ezra Rural HD (SL), assuming that the district was eligible and that we
4
just needed survey the area, make site forms, and draw a defensible boundary. Is an acceptable approach? Or do we
need to complete something more along the lines of an NCDOT report with context comps, etc.?
I am not sure of the ER # for the 2nd project but its for a subdivision in Garner needing a corps permit. The project as
drawn will impact (likely demolish) the Faulhaber Dairy Farm (WA4811), Wake County. The client would like to begin
consultation regarding this potential outcome.
Can we set up a quick call? I am free all week.
Thanks and stay healthy!
