The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of The Switzerland Inn on
10/22/2020. This inspection was conducted to verify that the discharge wastewater facility
has been disconnected and replaced with a subsurface system. This information was verified during the
inspection and therefore the permit has been rescinded at your request.

On 10/22/2020, I (Lauren Armeni) conducted a compliance evaluation inspection of The Switzerland Inn
WWTP. I met with Gary Jensen (permit owner) for the inspection.
The WWTP has been disconnected from the Inn plumbing since August 2020 and is no longer in use.
A subsurface drip wastewater system has been permitted and installed, and the Inn no longer requires
this discharge permit.
Mr. Jensen has requested this permit be rescinded.
