Please give a brief project description below.

The proposed project consists of construction of:
1) a new Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) that will replace the existing
Little Creek WRF which is undersized and outdated and will be
decommissioned. The proposed WRF site will be located at the existing
pump station along the Neuse River.
2) an access road to the new WRF site from North O'Neil Street along an
existing overhead high tension powerline easement
3) a new sewer line to convey flow from the existing Little Creek WRF within
the existing force main easement from the Little Creek WRF to the existing
pump station.
4) Upgrades to the existing outfall pipe within the Neuse River.
There are no anticipated wetland, stream or riparian buffer impacts for the
construction of the WRF site or the access road. There will be temporary
wetland and stream impacts for construction of the new sewer line within
the existing easement. The project is anticipated to be permitted under
either the existing NWP 12 or the proposed NWP-D.
An EA has been prepared for the project and is currently being reviewed
by NCDWI for approval.
