Please give a brief project description below.
The purpose of the project is to stabilize eroding stream banks on Cove
Creek. Lack of a vegetated riparian buffer, runoff from adjacent roadways,
and an increased sediment load due to upstream agricultural land use has
caused degradation on this reach. Streambank benching and sloping,
installation of natural channel design structures, and a planted riparian
forest buffer \&411 be used to restore the reach.
