The project proposes to construct convert Hopson Road into a 4-lane
divided typical section from Distribution Drive to S Miami Boulevard in
Durham, Durham County, NC. In addition to the widening,the project
proposes intersection and turn lane improvements at the S Miami
Boulevard intersection, Keystone Drive intersection, and Distribution Drive
intersection. Due to the nature and location of the project, unavoidable
impacts will result to an unnamed tributary to Stirrup Iron Creek, Neuse
Buffer Zones 1 and 2,and two jurisdictional wetlands.
