The Reservoir on the North Fork of the Mills River is becoming full of
sediment. The City of Hendersonville leases the land from the US Forest
Service. The City of Hendersonville uses this reservoir as a municipal
source for drinking water. The accumulated sediment is nearly blocking the
intake structure. A traditional maintenance dredging operation is proposed
to removed accumulated sediment that has backed up around the intake.
Preliminary plans and relevant project information will be sent to attendees
at least 10 days prior to the meeting.
Please give a couple of dates you are available for a meeting.
