STORMWATER NARRATIVE
This submittal is to modify the West Eleventh Street Single Family stormwater permit (SW8
190511). All stormwater control measures have been designed to the stormwater regulations in
Title 15A NCAC 2H.1000 amended on January 1, 2017. The proposed project is located in
Brunswick County, North Carolina in the vicinity of the intersection of West 1 I' Street and N.
Caswell Ave. within the City of Southport.
Below is a summary of the changes included in the proposed modification:
Modification to the West Eleventh Street Single Family project boundary.
• Increase in total drainage area.
• Increase in BUA served by Pond #I.
• Decrease in percent impervious.
Increase in drawdown time.

The developer rece In y purchascd a prcviously adjoining property that will now become part of the
West Eleventh Street Single Family development. The purchase of this property provides the developer
with the space for four additional lots making the total number of lots treated by Pond 41 to be 49. Due
to the land plan changes the total drainage area and built upon area served by Pond #1 increased and
the percent impervious decreased. The drawdown time for the pond increased to 3.74 days_ No changes
were made to the pond geometry. New water quality and routing calculations have been provided and
all applicable supporting documents have been revised.
