In response to your December 5, 2012 review comments, enclosed please find the following information
submitted for your review and approval:
l) One (1) copy of revised Storm Water Management and Sediment/Erosion Control Narrative with
Calculations, dated October 22, 2012, revised December 10, 2012.
2) Two (2) sets of design drawings, Sheets C-I — C-5, dated 5-28-12, revised 12-10-12.
3) Two (2) copies of "Survey for Calabash Fire Department, Inc.", prepared by Bobby M. Long &
Associates, dated April 2, 2012.
With respect to your review comments, we offer the following:
1. Please see the enclosed survey of the existing conditions for areas of impervious coverage currently
on the site.
2. A "Layout Plan", Sheet C-2, with dimensions of the proposed improvements has been added to the set
of design drawings.
3. The existing impervious areas have been revised in Section I.D. on Page I of the project narrative to
reflect the areas shown on the survey of the existing conditions.

The Wilmington Regional Office received a Stormwater Management Permit Application
for Calabash Fire Department on October 26, 2012. A preliminary review of that
information has determined that the application is not complete. The following
information is needed to continue the stormwater review:
Please provide a dimensioned existing conditions plan. If redevelopment is to be
considered the existing conditions must clearly show all current impervious
surfaces so that the required impervious areas for treatment can be determined.
2. Please dimension the layout plan so that the proposed impervious surfaces can
be compared to the existing impervious surfaces to determine required treatment
area.
3. The project narrative states that 12,203 sf of buildings and 1,234 sf of parking
currently exist on the site. The narrative goes on to state the various impervious
surfaces (buildings, parking, sidewalks, etc.) which are proposed. These total
40,676 sf while the stated existing impervious surfaces total 13,437 sf resulting a
difference of 27,239 sf. If this is accurate then the entire 27,239 sf of impervious
surfaces must be treated otherwise the narrative must be corrected to reflect the
correct impervious surfaces that currently exist.
Please note that this request for additional information is in response to a partial,
preliminary review. The requested information should be received by this Office prior to
January 5, 2012, or the application will be returned as incomplete. The return of a
project will necessitate resubmittal of all required items, including the application fee.
If you need additional time.to submit the information, please mail, email or fax your
request for a time extension to the Division at the address and fax number at the bottom
of this letter. The request must indicate the date by which you expect to submit the
required information. The Division is allowed 90 days from the receipt of a completed
application to issue the permit.

is subject to enforcement action pursuant to NCGS '143-215.6A.
