The landscape staff will need to clean out this swale periodically to ensure the pond will draw down to normal water elevation. (Quarterly) Cut the brush / vegetation on the berm and side slopes to a height of approximately G inches. 2. (Yearly) Cut, rake and remove cattail & associated aquatic invasive weeds when the weeds cover approximately 30% or more of the pond area or when negatively impacting the function of the pond. Cattails can quickly become a nuisance if not kept under control. 3. (Monthly) Remove all trash debris and plant matter that builds up on the concrete outlet control structure. 4. (Monthly) Remove any and all debris and/or obstructing plant material that builds up in the drainage ditch. This will keep the water flowing out of the pond area during and after rainfall events. The inlet is in passing condition and has recently been cleaned out and is functioning properly. The photo above shows the forebay looking south. The forebay is in passing condition. Previously noticed invasive vegetation has been cut and removed. SEW Burgaw July 20, 2016 Page 1 Aquatic vegetation was observed on the pond perimeter as shown above While aquatic plant species is generally accepted for the purpose of stabilization. Cattails previously noted have been cut back, raked, and removed from the area. The general condition observed at the pond surface shows the absence of floating algae or other foreign debris.
