ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, WATER QUALITY SECTION.
b.) WASTEWATER DISPOSAL SYSTEM PLAN APPROVAL FROM THE NCDEH & NR,
DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL. HEALTH, ON SITE SEWAGE BRANCH.
d.) WATER DISTRIBUTION PLAN APPROVAL
FROM THE NCDEH & NR, DIVISION OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY SECTION.
5. THE DATA ON THESE PLANS IS BELIEVED TO BE ACCURATE, BUT THE ACCURACY IS NOT
GUARANTEED. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL LEVELS, LOCATION, TYPES,
AND DIMENSIONS OF THE EXISTING U77LI7ES PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. IF A DISCREPANCY IS
FOUND, WORK SHALL CEASE AND THE ENGINEER NOTIFIED. WORK MAY CONTINUE UPON

APPLICABLE TO THIS PARTICULAR PROJECT. NO EXCEPTION TO THE STANDARD

2. PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF WATERMAIN CONSTRUCTION, THE CONSTRUCT-
ING COMPANY'S FOREMAN/SUPERVISOR SHALL MEET WITH THE DISTRIBUTION
SUPERVISOR FOR THE ASSOCIATION. THIS MEETING WILL BE SCHEDULED AS
EARLY AS POSSIBLE BUT IN NO CASE SHALL IT BE LESS THAN 72 HOURS
PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. THE FOLLOWING WILL BE
COVERED:
A. PLANS FOR THE ADDITION WILL BE REVIEWED.
B. A CHIEF INSPECTOR WILL BE ASSIGNED WHO WILL BE THE CONTACT
PERSON FOR THE ASSOCIATION WITH THE COMPANY FOREMAN/SUPER--
VISOR.
C. TENTATIVE CONSTRUCTION/COMPLETION SCHEDULE WILL BE ESTABLISHED.
3, THE WATERMAIN INSTALLATION CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING
EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES IN AREAS OF WORK PRIOR TO ANY WORK.
PROVIDE ADEQUATE MEANS OF SUPPORT AND PROTECTION IF UTILITIES ARE
TO REMAIN IN PLACE.
4. RECORD DRAWINGS, WHICH REFLECT "AS -BUILT" CONDITIONS, WILL BE SUB-
MITTED TO CHWA PRIOR TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE OF UTILITIES BY THE CHWA.
THESE DRAWINGS WILL ALSO SHOW A WATER LINE MAINTENANCE EASEMENT
(TO BE GRANTED TO CHWA) FOR THE 6-INCH MAIN TO THE VAULTS.
