C-0647 August 15, 2019 NCDEQ Division of Water Resources Water Quality Permitting 127 Cardinal Drive Extension Wilmington, NC 28405 Attn: Mr. Dean Hunkele RE: Fast Track Application Cover Letter to extend Carolina Water Service's Belvedere Plantation gravity sewer for The Arias at Songbird Landing Pender County Dean, Please find the attached FTA 04-16 application package which includes all items named on its first three pages and essentially being: the application, the flow tracking form, some location maps and historical permitting. The first section of Songbird Landing was permitted as WQ0040595. It is complete and certified (see attached Final Approval). The second section of the first phase will be sixty-three lots named The Arias at Songbird Landing. It is to be sewered from the terminus of Carolina Water Service's collection system at the end of Bluebird Lane in Belvedere Plantation. Carolina Water Service did not want to permit this section when we permitted the first because there was no plan to build and they did not want to tie up the plant capacity. Bill Clark now has this section under contract. The design sewage flow rate is given to be one hundred and ninety-five gallons per day per three -bedroom home which is considered the residential equivalent. The project proposes nearly thirty-four hundred feet of gravity eight -inch sewer main. The system will be constructed to Carolina Water Service specification and conveyed to them once satisfactorily completed. Please consider this package complete for permitting. Feel free to contact me in this regard. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. attachments Cc Bryce Mendenhall Danny Lassiter JHF/if file: w:\master\pw169\water and sewer\arias\songbird fta cover to ncdeq.doc 107B COMMERCE STREET 102D CINEMA DRIVE GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA 27858 WILMINGTON, NORTH CAROLINA 28403 252.756.9352 910.815.0775 Fentress JA, P.E.
