Carolyn — I'm just following up on this payment, now that I've had time to examine what's in BIMS.
Case LV-2017-0187 was paid via check # 162673 on 1/8/2020. The case was closed on 1/8/2020.
Case LV-2017-0188 was paid via check # 162673 on 1/8/2020. No "case closed" date was entered in BIMS, so I entered
1/8/2020 today.

Case LV-2017-0256 was paid via check # 162673 on 1/8/2020. No "case closed" date was entered in BIMS, so I entered
1/8/2020 today.
I don't know why Polk County didn't contest the complaint, as they did pay the penalties.
I also don't know what triggered the collection request. I went through all the Excel spreadsheets I've sent over to you,
and only found one of the cases (-0256) in a spreadsheet from April 2019. That was before they paid the fine, however
I went back through the emails and found where you had notified me about filing the complaint against Polk County. I
filed the email without checking the case numbers, so that part's my fault. I'll review those emails from now on.
I don't understand why they paid this. As I mentioned in my earlier message, if Polk County owes anyone in DEQ for
either an enforcement or an annual fee, apply the money to those items. Our cases were paid in January 2020.
