I will leave future site visit and method verification discussion up to our Asheville plant environmental leads (included here). This may be a good opportunity for our Duke Water Resources team to become familiar with Division accepted methodology for this technique if there was ever the need for it to be used elsewhere. I appreciate your help and quick response on this. Have a great week. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Hello Charles, Not sure if you are the most appropriate person to ask regarding a technical question for annual flow validation for industrial wastewater, but I figured I would start with ARO compliance first. At our Duke Asheville Combined Cycle facility we have an outfall (101) that discharges too little flow to be measured by our standardized method using calibrated flow meters. The question I have is, would a timed flow collection using a quantitative collection method (collecting all water and measuring volume in an appropriate measuring container) be valid for the NPDES permit reporting? I am happy to discuss this over the phone if you need more information. I can be reached at 919-218-9261. If you are not the appropriate contact for this question please forward to the best team member. Thanks for your help.
