Facilities that incorporate a solvent management plan into the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan may so certify, and the requirement for TTO monitoring
may be waived. The solvent management plan shall include a list of the total toxic organic compounds used and the other elements listed in the General
Permit. For those facilities electing to employ the TTO monitoring waiver, the discharger shall sign the following certification statement:
"Based upon my inquiry of the person or persons directly responsible for managing compliance with the permit monitoring requirement for total toxic organics
(TTO), I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, no dumping of concentrated toxic organics into the stormwater or areas which are exposed to rainfall or
stormwater runoff has occurred since filing the last discharge monitoring report. I further certify that this facility is implementing the all the provisions of the
solvent management plan included in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan."

Dear Mr. Quarry:
Shield Engineering, Inc. (Shield) successfully collected monthly stormwater samples for Stormwater Discharge
Outfalls (SDO) #001 and #002 at the Mount Holly facility for the month of March 2020. During the March 3"t
sampling event, Shield's field measurements of pH were 7.79 and 7.69, respectively, at SDO #001 and SDO
#002. In addition to collection of samples, Shield performed Qualitative Monitoring at SDO #001 and #002.
During the Qualitative Monitoring, some erosion was observed at SDO #001, caused by the overflow of
stormwater alongside the concrete pipe. This will be monitored by Shield during the next stormwater sampling.
A partially completed discharge monitoring report (DMR) is attached, as well as the analytical results and
Qualitative Monitoring Report forms. The person designated to act as the permittee by Daimler Trucks — Mount
holly facility should sign all "Red" sections of the DMR. The signed DMR form should then be mailed to the
regulatory agency Central Files. Results from the March V sampling event show no exceedances.
Daimler remains in Tier 3 at SDO #001 and SDO #002 for Zinc and Copper. Shield will continue to perform
monthly sampling per Tier 2 requirements until instructed to decrease sampling frequency by Daimler. Shield
