The following is a summary of our findings: Sample Collection Year: 2020 Sample Period: ❑x Jan -June ❑ July -Dec CI Monthly Benchmark exceedance(s): Certificate of Coverage NCG030511 Unit mg/L mg/L mg/L mg/L mg/L — mg/L Benchmark Values 15 0.007 0.030 0.067 100 9.0 1.0 BPL aegmeroryumAsofNot Detected) # x Date - SDO _ - 0&G - Copper - Lead - Zinc - TSS - PH - TTO - Other - Remarks 1 23-Apr-20 SDO.1 BRL 0.0076 BRL 0.095 20 6.8 BRL NIA Semi-annual sample 2 23-Apr-20 SDO-2 BRL 0.002 BRL BRL 4.3 7.0 BRL NIA Semi-annual sample 3 23-Apr-20 SDO-3 BRL 00045 BRL 0.082 5.3 6.9 BRL NIA Semi-annual sample 4 23-Apr-20 SD04 BRL 0.0032 BRL BRL 12 6.9 BRL NIA Semi-annual sample Tier Response Plan: General Permit NCG030000 requires Tier One response for SDO-1 and SDO-3, which includes: 1. Conducting a stormwater management inspection of the facility within two weeks of receiving sampling results: Inspections were completed on Wed 4/22/20 and Tue 8/30/18 (see report annex). 2. Identifying and evaluating possible causes of the benchmark value exceedance. Noticed some small sediment and debris accumulation (i.e. sand) at employee parking lot west, specifically around 3 of the 4 stormwater drains leading to SDO-3 representative outfall. Similarly, we could not identify any visible factors leading to the Cu and Zn exceedances at SDO-1. 3. Identifying potential and selecting the specific source controls, operational controls, or physical improvements to reduce concentrations of the parameters of concern, and/or to bring concentrations within the benchmark range. A Cyclone Dust Enclosure was installed on 10/9/18 to contain fugitive emissions from the dust collector. We verified the installation and proper conditions of 4 x Ultractech Filter socks on each one of the stormwater drains. Subcontracted the cleaning of SDO-1 (vegetation only, no trash or debris). Recommended protecting the right -side of scrap metal storage area. 4. Implementing the selected actions within two months of the inspection. Preventive actions will be implemented before 8/1/20. 5. Recording each instance of a Tier One response in the SPPP. Updates to site's SPPP were made on 8/30/18 —refer to "Summary of Changes." For purposes of this permit the definition of Total Toxic Organics is that definition contained in the EPA Effluent Guidelines for the facility subject to the requirement to sample (for metal finishing use the definition as found in 40 CFR 433.11; for semiconductor manufacture use the definition as found in 40 CFR 469.12; for electronic crystal manufacture use the definition as found in 40 CFR 469.22; and for cathode ray tube manufacture use the definition found in 40 CFR 469.31). The solvent management plan shall include a list of the total toxic organic compounds used and the other elements listed in the General Permit. For those facilities electing to employ the TTO monitoring waiver, the discharger shall sign the following certification statement: "Based upon my inquiry of the person or persons directly responsible for managing compliance with the permit monitoring requirement for total toxic organics (TTO), I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, no dumping of concentrated toxic organics into the stormwater or areas which are exposed to rainfall or stormwater runoff has occurred since filing the last discharge monitoring report. I further certify that this facility is implementing the all the provisions of the solvent management plan included in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan."
