Section 404 Permit to Authorize discharges into Wetlands and Waters
Resulting from the Proposed Demolition and Removal of the Lowell Mill
and Dam on the Little River, Johnston County
Dear Ms. Manuele:
The enclosed wetland data sheets and surveyed plat are being submitted as a supplement
to the Section 404 IP application, which was submitted on September 14, 2005.
Restoration System regrets not including these materials in the original submittal, but
efforts to avoid impacts to the wetland were on-going up to the time application
documents were being finalized.
The location of the wetland and an explanation for its impact are included in the
referenced application.
Should you have any questions, or have a need for additional information, please contact
Randy Turner at 755-9490 (office), or 971-5529 (mobile). Thank you for all your time
and consideration.
