The State of North Carolina has issued Stave General Permits for animal facilldea to operato In North Carolino. These
Permits meal both State and EPA requirements orrd provide coverage for the following types of facilities.

• AW0200000 - Cattle Faellities
• AW0300000 - Pouiby facilities with a liquid waste txttinagerncni system
You heve recently boon issued a Cortlftcate of Coverago (COC) to oporste your animal facility Under ono of these Gunund
Permits.
Condition 11.24 of each of thenePermits roads as follows;
Tho Nennittee shall:
a. instoli, operatc, and maintain dovices on all irrigation pumps/equipment designed to automatically atop irrigation
activitivs during precipitation; or
b, wmmit to provides for the presence of the OIC, a designated backup OIC, or a person under.ths supervision often
