Reference the Department of the Army permit issued to you on May 21, 2009, for the Rocky
Mount Northern Connector, TIP R-2823, starting from S.R. 1604 (Hunter Hill Road) and ending
at U.S. Highway 301, in Nash County, North Carolina. Also reference your letter of November
9, 2009, requesting modification of this permit for the following impacts:
Site 9 Sheets 32 and 33 Additional stream impacts 13 linear fee
The permit is hereby modified to include the work as indicated above and shown on the
submitted plans. It is understood that all conditions of the original permit remain applicable and
that the expiration date is unchanged.
In summary, the final modified permanent impacts to DA jurisdiction associated with the
construction of R-2823 equals 6.4 acres of wetlands and 1,966 linear feet of stream.
