The Project includes the construction and operation of an approximately
1.75-mile, 8-inch natural gas pipeline. The pipeline will tie into the existing
Line 94 pipeline south of NC Business Route 70 and at the southern
terminus of Wildwood Drive. The pipeline will then travel north along
Wildwood Drive and cross NC Business Route 70 and the North Carolina
Railroad via Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD). The route then continues
northwest paralleling NC Business Route 70 and the railroad before turning
northeast/east along Highway 42. The pipeline extends along Highway 42
for approximately 0.8-miles before crossing to the north side of the road via
a conventional bore and terminating at the Flowers Plantation Regulator
Station. The pipeline terminus points are at: south/west (35.626745, -
78.43911) and north/east (35.643098,-78.430338). An approximately 0.3-
acre launcher and main line valve station is proposed at the southern
terminus and the Flowers Plantation Regulator Station is approximately 0.5
acres.
