REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Ms. Simpson:
On February 24,2010,the Express Review Program of the Division of Water Quality(DWQ)received
your application dated February 24,2010,to impact 12,777.69 square feet of Zone 1 Neuse River basin
protected riparian buffer(9,859.88 ft2 permanent impact and 2,917.81 ft2 temporary impact),and
20,024.86 square feet of Zone 2 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffer(15,063.12 ft2 permanent
impact and 4,961.74 ft2 temporary impact), to construct the proposed greenway trail and access paths at
the proposed location. The DWQ has determined that your application will require additional
information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your
project and prevent denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506:
Additional Information Requested
1. Although you have enumerated the temporary buffer impacts on the site plans,they are not
identified visually. Please provide impact maps clearly outlining all buffer impacts.
2. Please submit an agent authorization letter allowing Steve Stokes to sign on behalf of the Town of
Wake Forest.
Please respond within five(5)days of the date of this letter by sending two(2)copies of the above
information in writing. The Express Review Program is a process that requires all parties to participate in
a timely manner.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands,waters or
protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at
this time)by the DWQ.
