Inspection Summary:
A collection system inspection was conducted on 8/18/2015. Pumping Stations #10 and #12 were checked and found to be
in compliance. The electrical junction box of PS#10 is located below the manhole rim and is not of the sealed type. It poses
a shock hazard if submerged.
The collection system has many pumping stations with hook-up for temporary auxiliary power generators. It was noted that
most pumping stations are configured for single phase power, but some are configured for 3 phase power. The power
phasing capability of the roll -around generators should match that of the pumping station. Otherwise, spill abatement plans
should include pump truck capability if roll -up generator is not compatible with pumping station power requirements.

Pump Stations #10 and #12 were inspected. At each station, weekly checks are conducted. Pump Run time
meter records indicated dual pumps operating. Generator pigtail and transfer switch was available for single
phase power connection at PS #12. Simulated high water conditions at both stations produced AN alarms
and autodialer call to operator. Both wetwells were well maintained and contained no excessive grease
accumulations.
