Hi all -
I reviewed the information in the Lake Tahoma Dredge permit modification request. We do not support the
placement of spoil in the 100-year floodplain, and it certainly appears that this spoil site is within the
flood -plain of Buck Creek. However, if evenly applied to the field, 9,000 cyd of spoil would be 2.6 inches of fill
across the 19.6 acre site. I am concerned about sediment and erosion control on the site - there needs to be
sufficient measures to contain this spoil so it does not erode into Buck Creek.
