See attached Site Map 2. See attached Analytical Monitoring Summary 3. Visual Monitoring Summary. a. As part of comprehensive site inspections, all potential pollutant sources, including areas where industrial activity may be exposed to stormwater were inspected. In reviewing each area all industrial materials, residue, or trash that may have or could come into contact with stormwater; leaks or spills from industrial equipment, drums, tanks, and other containers; offsite tracking of industrial or waste materials from areas of no exposure to exposed areas; and tracking or blowing of raw, final, or waste materials from areas of no exposure to exposed areas were considered. b. During visual monthly inspections, some control measures were identified to be in need of repair or replacement such as catch basin drain guards (socks) and drain covers. All catch basin guards and drain covers have been replaced. c. In addition, a plan has been identified and is being implemented in conjunction with outside consultants to: provide sufficient secondary containment in the chemical storage areas; to prevent all industrial materials including scrap metal storage, machine output residue and trash from entering the drainage system. 4. Best Management Practices: a. Catch basin socks - Sediment sock to remove trash and debris such as cigarette butts, candy wrappers and paper goods. b. Housekeeping - We use a Tennant industrial sweeper to clean parking lot and outside concrete areas. c. Spill Prevention - We have spill cabinets with absorbent materials places throughout the facility to expedite spill clean ups. d. Overflow alarm system - Developed an overflow alarm system to alert employees of potential open top in ground storage tanks. This system is also tied to the alarm in our waste water treatment system. e. SPCC - Currently working with outside consultant to develop a SPCC. As we develop this plan we will examine all of our past spills and other areas for potential spills and put measures in place to reduce exposure. Significant Changes a. Our business has been growing and as a result we have been adding more die casting machines and other equipment to handle this growth. We have purchased the building next to us with the intent to remove the existing building and build a new toolroom. Once the new toolroom is built this will increase our forklift traffic outside the facilities. This purchase added another acre to our site and moved our outfall collection point. b. Since our last permit renewal we have identified an additional outfall (#2) that has been added to our site map. 6.
