On 9/23/2020, I (Daniel Boss) conducted a compliance evaluation inspection of the Tuxedo
Hydroelectric Plant for it's non-contact cooling water discharge permit. I met with the plant manager,
Jeff McCraw.
The tailrace, upstream, and downstream locations all looked fine. No adverse water quality effects
were observed.
Upstream and downstream sampling is taking place, but samples are not being taken at the tailrace.
Effluent samples need to be taken before the effluent combines with the receiving stream.
