Subject: Stormwater Permit for ABHW Concrete
Good Afternoon!
I am currently reviewing the NOI for coverage under NCG140000 for the ABHW Concrete facility in New Bern
(NCG140472). The NOI indicates that there are no outfalls onsite as all the stormwater leaves the site via sheet flow.
However, I cannot issue a permit without an outfall location. If there truly are no outfalls on site, you may wish to
withdraw this application and instead apply for a Certificate of No Exposure — details for this can be found at
https://deg.nc.gov/about/divisions/energy-mineral-land-resources/npdes-no-exposure. Please let me know how you
wish to proceed by 10/28/2020 to prevent the return of this NOI. Thank you so much and please contact me with any
