Hi Brandee and Amy,
I have reviewed the information sent to me about the Bostic Landfill project, which proposes to impact 63 ft of an
unnamed tributary to the Second Broad River and 0.04 acre of wetland while removing old fill from the closed Bostic
Landfill in Rutherford County.
Project activities should not impact trout resources and do not need to be avoided during a trout moratorium. We
appreciate the applicant's concern over invasive species in the planting plan; we recommend removing Tall Fescue from
the planting plan, as well, as this is a highly invasive species.
