With live stakes on the slope? Correct. The trees must be larger than 3" in diameter. Any trees you work around, you can deduct from this number. The ground cover can be pulled back and set off to the side and spread back on top. Any trees removed can be chipped and chips placed back in the buffer. If that is the plan. I am good and will issue based on this information. 1 Thanks Dh,1TJc)n 0 W tgr RC:Ji9U«94i. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Hey Alan, I've attached the plans for your use, all the existing trees have been located and shown on the C3 plan. 135-ft is correct is their total length. The existing wall is only 104-If. The Shoreline Stabilization Application was your recommendation in an email dated back on 11/20/19. If you want to look at it in the field we can certainly meet and go over it or I can swing by your office, what ever works best for you. Was not included in the application. What is the shoreline length? I have — 135 ft. This is really a buffer authorization more than a shoreline stabilization. So what is happening in the buffer should be clear Thanks DWR DWon of Water RC$9UF-C94i. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Hey Alan, We're moving the existing unpermitted retaining wall and laying the slope back at 2:1 and stabilizing with P300 matting and Live Stakes. Sheet C3 is the Landscape plan, it shows existing conditions and proposed. The proposed plants, type and quantity are listed on sheet C3, 3-Inch trees specified, the type was selected directly from Dukes approved list of trees. We can meet at the site to go over the plan if that helps? Peyton Woody Principal 704.315.8367 Woodbinedesign.com 20816 N. Main Street, Suite 204 Cornelius, NC 28031 400 Woodbine Design, P.C. How are you to transition from the vertical embankment to the lake bed. Or is the embankment proposed to stay. The plan should give the existing conditions and then the proposed planting plan within the 30 ft buffer. Any tree removal will require 3" diameter (at breast height), native species, 8 ft in height trees to be planted. Complete clearing of the buffer will not be allowed. Avoidance and minimization of working through the buffer should be shown. Based on the photo provided, it appears there has been clearing. Please document/photos that the 30 ft has been maintained at this time.
