The purpose of the evaluation was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Permit WQCS00276. David Mintz, ORC, and Charles Trott, BORC, were present during the inspection. The Village Utility operates 40 lift stations, 18 commercial pump stations and over 700 residential simplex pump stations. The Utility has approximately 6-8 new spare simplex pumps and the ability to rebuild the used simplex pumps on site. Documentation of all operations and maintenance of the collection system was available and complete. A utility supply inventory is updated monthly to keep track of available spare parts. Future improvements include anti -corrosion coating of pump stations, additional CCTV camera and replacing the dialers with wireless connection. The facility is compliant with the collection system permit WQCS00276. Please review the comment sections of the inspection report for more details. The Utility is in the process of trying to connect the remaining on -site private sewer systems to the Utility's sewer force main. The Primary Main pump station is the only one with a generator on -site. The Utility has 3 portable generators for back-up power. All the generators are serviced and tested 2 times a year by a contractor. The Dune Ridge Main and the Stede Bonnet Main pump station's audio alarms did not operate during the inspection. Both alarms were replaced and operable 2 days after the inspection. Also, the Timber Creek 5 pump station dialer delay was adjusted to call alarm in less time. Page 7 of 7
