Please ensure a copy of Lori’s email is placed into Mayo’s NPDES permit file (NC0038377). Zach, I’m not sure if a violation will populate BIMS for the August 2020 reporting period. You’ll need to verify & compare the analytical result to the hardcopy permit to determine any compliance issues. Thanks, Vanessa E. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Sergei and Vanessa, 2 I left both of you a voicemail concerning the recent data Mayo received with an arsenic value of 9.1 ug/L at outfall 002 from a sample taken on August 26. This value is in excess of the 85% of the allowable level for Arsenic based on the water quality standard of 10 ug/L. The Mayo ash basin had a large slough event happen on August 31 and all decanting activity has stopped as we continue to access the ash basin. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need further information. Thank you. Lori W.
