Dear Landon,
Sunburst Trout Farm LLC has been notified of the Deficiency of this Permit. I take blame for
the recordkeeping deficiency. The water was tested in 2018 for the incorrect parameters and
not tested at all in 2019. In 2019, Sunburst was on the verge of bankruptcy and we closed
from February through May while we grew our fish and sought a loan to keep us alive. I was
distracted by these hardships and simply forgot to do the sampling for 2019. The sampling for
2018 was a miscommunication between myself and the agency that does our testing. I will do
the sampling for 2020 for settleable and suspended solids and DO and email copies directly to
you as soon as possible. We have always been on top of yearly sampling previously and I
really dropped the ball, especially in 2019.
