At the developer's request, this letter is to confirm the Town's review and
approval of the following plans for this project: a Master Plan for the entire
development, a Subdivision Plan for Phase 1, and a Development Plan for Phase
1. By approving these plans, the Town has approved, at the master-plan level,
lot layout and horizontal utility and roadway configurations. We are happy to
provide a copy of the master plan level documents in order to illustrate the level
of detail required by the Town for master plan approval. Construction drawing
submittal, approval, and permitting will be the next stages of the required
development approval process that occurs through the Town.
Also, this letter is to confirm that the thoroughfare that runs across the northern
part of the project has been shown in this general location on the Town's
Thoroughfare Plan for at least 8 years as a future planned and needed roadway
connection. This thoroughfare connects to NC55, and was approved by the
NCDOT Controlled Access Committee.
