Observations were made at wastewater/stormwater outfall NPDES-01/SDO-1 where work has been done since the previous inspection to clean out accumulated sediment from the settling basins and relocate the water truck fill station to avoid excess water from entering the basins. Additional work is planned to remove overgrowth of vegetation (cattails) from basins and reroute some flows to achieve increased settling efficiency. Observations also made at basin 3/SDO-6 where rip -rap has been placed at one end of a forebay berm to help prevent erosion from stormwater flows and efforts are underway to replace sections of the outflow/discharge pipe and place additional rip -rap around end of the outlet pipe. SDO-3 has been eliminated as flow from basin 2 has been directed into basin 3 via vegetated ditch. SDO-4 is essentially a long, linear basin lined with rip -rap where discharge events are rare.
