Everything looks good except for a few small issues: - Low Density Supplement o Please fill out Table 1 for all of the ditches (1-12). o Please provide your initials for all included items on the Required Items Checklist. NOTE: You do not need to provide a complete hard copy of the supplement, just the updated pages. - Application o Section IX was again unnecessarily signed. If you are OK with it, I will put a big red “X” through this section on the original copy. If you are not OK with this solution, please provide a corrected signature page. - Calculations o Please provide some documentation for n values used for the ditch calculations. For example, ditches 2, 5, 7e, 8, 9, 11, and 12e all have n values that are more than 0.02 larger than the corresponding maximum value from the table provided (Assuming grass 2”-6” and depth of flow either < 0.7’ or 0.7’- 1.5’ depending on the ditch). Ditch n value used in calculations Max n value from provided table 2 0.084 0.06 5 0.119 0.06 7 end 0.112 0.09 8 0.105 0.06 9 0.161 0.06 11 0.116 0.06 12 end 0.156 0.09 Most of these proposed ditches will flow slower the minimum 2.0 fps used to generate the n values in the provided table, so it is very possible that the n values used in the calculations are correct, however I have no way to verify that this is the case. Could you provide documentation from North American Green or any other reputable source showing how these n values were obtained or that these n values are appropriate for the conditions shown in the ditch calculations? Since these are really minor things, once I get the hard copies and the documents are uploaded to Laserfiche (Provided everything is still in order), we can issue the permit without doing another 30+ day review period.
