HomeMy WebLinkAboutSW3190505_Add Info_20200207Georgoulias, Bethany From: Farkas, Jim J Sent: Friday, February 7, 2020 3:39 PM To: Kit Broome; Vince Keene Subject: SW3190505 - Courtyards on Lawyers Road Kit/Vincent, I was looking over the additional information you provided on 1/7. Everything looks good except for a few small issues: - Wet Pond 1 WQ Elevation o The design volume for wet pond 1 is 124,277 cf. The cumulative storage volume of wet pond 1 at elevation 663 is 2.083 ac-ft = 90,000 cf (per the provided stage -storage table). It is therefore impossible for the temporary pool elevation (based on the design volume) to be below elevation 663. Based on the provided stage -storage table, the actual temporary pool elevation should be closer to elevation 663.75. o Per the above comment, the secondary orifice is below the temporary pool elevation and should be taken into consideration in the drawdown calcs. It does not appear that this secondary orifice has a noticeable effect on the drawdown rate, but it should still be included in the calcs. - Wet Pond 2 WQ Elevation o Like wet pond 1, the temporary pool elevation does not appear to be correctly calculated/shown. Based on the provided stage -storage table, the actual temporary pool elevation should be closer to elevation 665.8. o Per the above comment, the secondary orifice is below the temporary pool elevation and should be taken into consideration in the drawdown calcs. It does not appear that this secondary orifice has a noticeable effect on the drawdown rate, but it should still be included in the calcs. - Supplement-EZ Form o Wet Pond Sheet, Wet Pond 1, Line 28 —The average depth of the main pool did not appear to be updated to coincide with the revised calcs (Average Depth = 6.38 ft). Please revise for consistency. Please provide the following: - Applicable revised plan sheets (2x full-sized hard copies & 1x electronic copy uploaded to Laserfiche). - Corrected wet pond page of the Supplement-EZ Form (2x hard copies & 1x electronic copy uploaded to Laserfiche). The change is so minor that you don't need to re-sign/seal the form. - Any other submittal material that is impacted by addressing the above comments, (Any applicable hard copy(s) & electronic copy(s) uploaded to Laserfiche). If the calculations need to be corrected, we only require 1 hard copy. - Title sheet indicating the date of the latest revision to the plans (2x full-sized hard copies). Since these are really minor things, once I get the hard copies, anything else that may have changed from addressing these issues, and the documents are uploaded to Laserfiche (Provided everything is still in order), we can issue the permit without having to do another formal 30 day review.
