This officehas reviewed the subjcci erosion arid sedimentation control plan. We find the
plan to be acceptable and hereby issue taus letter of Approval. The Certificate of
Approval must be posted at the Job site. 'leis plan approval shall expire three (3) years

following the date of approval, as is required by Title 15A NCAC 4B.01 29 and Appendix
H of the Iredell County Land Development Code.
Title 15A NCAC 4B GI I 8(1a) and Appendix H offthy: Iredell County Land Development
Code requires that a copy of the approved erosion control plan be on file at theJob sit
Anyamendments and/or revisions to the approved plan must be reviewed and approved
prior to implementation in order for the site to remain in compliance. Failure to submit
plans for approval may result in administrative actions and/or penalties as indicated in the
Iredell County Land Deveiopment Code. Also, this letter gives notice as required by G.S.
I I 3A-61. I (a) and Appendix H of the Iredell County Land Development Code, of our
right of periodic inspection to insure compliance with the approved plan.
Iredell County's Sedimentation Pollution Control Program is performance -oriented,
requiring protection of existing natural resources and adjoining properties. If, following
t%e commencement of this project, it is determined that the erosion and sedimentation
control plan is inadequate lo meet the requirennents of the Iredell County Land
Development Code and the Sedimentation Pollution Control Act of 1973, (North

Carolina General Statute I l3 A-s l through 66), this office may require revisions to fhe
plan and implementation of the revisions to insure complim= with the Act and Code.
Acceptance and approval of this plan is conditioned upon your compliance with Federal
and State water quality laws, regulations, and rules. In addition, local city or county
ordinances or rules may also apply to this land -disturbing activity. '-his approval does
not supersede any other permit or approval. It is the responsibility of the applicant to
obtain all other required permits or approvals.
As of March i, 2019, all new construction activities are required to complete and submit
an electronic Notice of Intent (tiQi) form requesting a Certificate of Coverage (COC)
under the. NCGO 10000 Construction Stormwater Generai Permit. This corm MUST be
submitted prior to the commencement of any laud disturbing activity on the above named

be emailed to you within three business days. Initially, DEMLR will not charge a fee for
coverage under the ItiICGOI permit. Hov:ever, Or, or after May 1, 2019, a S.100 fee will be
charged annually. This fee is to be sent to the l}c' LR 5tormwater Central Office staff in
Raleigh.
Please mote that this approval is based in part en the accuracy of the information provided
in the .Financial Responsibility Fonn, which you provided. You are requested to File an
amended form if there is anv change in the information included on the form. In
addition, it is required that this office to be retified of the proposed starting date for this
project. Failure to notify this office of the starting date may result in a Notice of
Violation and ci-61 pcnalty. Please ncAify us when yms plan to have a preconstrucfion
conference.
