Salisbury Street 1612 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1612 Reference: Storm Water Narrative Custom Plastics Phase 1 Building Expansion 1735 Heilig Road Salisbury, North Carolina Mr. Jim Farkas: Amicus Partners, PH C Amicus Partners, PLLC (Amicus) is pleased to submit this storm water management narrative for the proposed Custom Plastics Phase I building expansion at 1735 Heilig Road in Salisbury, North Carolina. The scope of the project involves adding approximately 68,687 square feet to an existing industrial building. The new impervious area consists of two building expansions on the north and south side of the building as well as a new drive isle around the south side of the building expansion. In order to treat and detain the new impervious area, a sand filtration system was designed at the front of the property to treat and detain an equivalent area of 68,687 square feet draining from the existing parking lot. The sand filter was designed to treat the first -inch of runoff and meet pre -expansion runoff volumes for the 2-year and 10-year, 24-hour storm events. The post -developed routing from the sand filter discharges to the south east of the property. Attached to this letter is the revised storm water management permit application along with required supporting documentation as well as two full sets of construction documents and one set of calculations.
