Amicus Partners, PLLC (Amicus) is providing you with this Letter regarding the Building Expansion at 1735
Heilig Road, Salisbury, North Carolina. We have reviewed your comment request for seasonal high
groundwater elements and conclusions.
Amicus conducted a hand auger exploration on May 20, 2020 for observations of aquatic or groundwater
features. Hand augers were conducted at the location of the proposed storm water management BMP to a
depth of 4 feet below existing grades. Existing grade is approximately 811 feet and design bottom of BMP is
currently set at 810 feet. Aquatic or redoximorphic features and/or groundwater were not observed in the
hand auger. Indicative seasonal high-water table features were not observed within 2 feet from the
proposed bottom of storm water management BMP.
