The Chowan County Tax Property Identification Number (PIN) is 688400554984. This is a residential condominium facility. Wharf Landing, LLC is the owner of the common grounds. The Site has received a CAMA Major Permit, 401 Water Quality Certification, State Stormwater Permit and State Wastewater Collection System Permit for connection to the Town of Edenton Wastewater Treatment System. Existing Conditions This waterfront facility includes built upon upland areas and a man-made boat basin, and is adjacent to open waters of the Chowan River. The accompanying aerial photo shows the existing improvements. Also attached is a Stormwater Permit Exhibit that shows all improvements that have been permitted along with notes from a Stormwater system inspection that occurred in 2018 (no new work has occurred since then). Please note that many of the boat slips and permitted condominium structures have not been built. The permitted pile- supported piers and open water slips in the Chowan River have not been constructed. The State High Density Stormwater System is functioning as permitted and that Permit (SW7041202- attached) has been renewed (in 2018) until March 28, 2027. Two CAMA Major Permits have been issued for the facility, including CAMA Major 153-01 and 11-05. CAMA Major 153-01 is for water dependent structures and boat slips and CAMA Major 11-05 is for upland development (condominium facility)which required a CAMA Major Permit due to the need for other State Permits (SESCP, SW and Wastewater System Connection). There are no direct stormwater outfalls. The High Density Stormwater Permit requires that stormwater be collected, treated and stored away from open waters. There is a wastewater pumpout station associated with the boat basin. This was in part funded by NC Division of Coastal Management. There is no fueling, overnight live-aboard for boaters and no boat ramp or haul-out. Similarly, no boat or automotive maintenance (blasting, painting, etc) occurs at this facility.
