1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project:
Driveways are designed to meet Currituck Counties minimum Wdth standards of 20' width for residential use and 40' Wdth for emergency vehicle
access to the properties.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques:
Two driveways will be constructed at the minimum 20' width as required by Currituck County development standards. Side slopes to be constructed at
a 2:1 grade stabilized vdth rock rip -rap to minimize side slope and width of impact. The emergency vehicle access driveway Wit be constructed the
minimum 40' width and side slopes of 2:1 grade stabilized with rock rip -rap to minimize side slope and vAdth impacts.
