In accordance with North Carolina General Statute § 90A-37, the Water Pollution Control System Operators
Certification Commission is required to classify all water pollution control systems.
The Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission has determined that the subject
facility is classified as a Grade III Biological Water Pollution Control System and Grade II Physical Chemical
Water Pollution Control System, effective June 1, 2020 [15A NCAC 08G .0302 & .0306].
Designated operators (ORC & Backup ORC) must be made within 120 days of receipt of this notice. Please
review current designations and submit designation forms, as needed, for any new designations or updates.
If there are any designated operators that need to be removed or expired, please let me know and I will
make the necessary update(s).
