Inspection Summary:
Site visit conducted in response to submittal of NOI for coverage under NCG050000. Met with Wally Steuck, Plant Manager,
and Robie Mills, Maintenance Supervisor, to verify information on NOI, discuss facility operations and provide overview of
permit conditions. Based on discussions regarding facility operations and site observations, it appeared facility would
actually qualify for the No Exposure Certification instead of permit coverage. Facility personnel were advised to submit
application for No Exposure Certification. A follow-up e-mail was sent to facility personnel that provided a link to the No
Exposure section of our website where they could get more information and access the application. Regional office
recommends granting No Exposure Certification upon receipt of an application instead of issuing permit coverage.
