Two Rivers Utilities manages the water and sewer operations for the corridor along US Hwy 321 from
Gastonia, NC to Clover, SC. The utility currently uses sewer lines to the west along Crowders Creek Rd. A
sewer line near the property runs near the intersections of Chapel Grove School Rd and Crowders Creek
Rd. it's possible to construct a 2,500' extension to tap into the Two Rivers Utilities System near that
intersection (map included).
There are no current plans by the utility to expand service in the basin. However, the utility communicated
that the construction of a sewer line satisfying city requirements would enable them to take over service
of the line. An effluent meter would be used for billing purposes.
To this end, an engineer and contractors would need to be hired for the work; all provided by Stonetown
Berkley Oaks, LLC. Presuming that easements could be obtained for the sewer line, we estimate this
expense to be $603,888.
